i3Forum’s Pledge on Combatting Fraud

i3Forum is honored to contribute to the Call for Pledges issued by the UNODC as part of the Global Fraud Summit, taking place in Vienna, March 16–17, 2026.

By the end of 2026, i3Forum, a not-for-profit organization of the international telecommunication industry, pledges to provide implementable guidelines to enhance and harmonize the tools and practices used across the industry to fight Voice and Messaging based fraud and scams.

Specific areas of focus include the identification and blocking of unwanted and fraudulent calls, harmonization of global Numbering Plans, legitimate use of Cloud Numbers, Mobile Identity APIs, KYC, and Information sharing.

As a member of One Consortium, i3Forum’s work is shared with other members, and contributes to the collaborative work with telecom regulators in GIRAF and relevant stakeholders globally.
