I3FORUM & GLF ANTI-FRAUD CODE OF CONDUCT
IMPLEMENTATION & OVERSIGHT MEETING
Join the first Implementation and Oversight committee meeting
A year ago, ITW Global Leaders’ Forum (GLF) and the i3forum launched a joint Code of Conduct (CoC) to unify the international carrier community in its fight against Fraud. Since then, the CoC has seen tremendous momentum with 28 carriers of all sizes signing up and committing to its principals.
The launch of the CoC represented the first step in the industry’s collective effort to reduce and eradicate fraud in the international carrier industry. To help translate the principles in the CoC into further tangible actions every signatory can implement, the GLF and i3forum have launched the following:
KPIs FOR INTERNATIONAL CARRIERS TO STANDARDISE INDUSTRY’S MEASUREMENT OF FRAUD
The first principle of the CoC includes a requirement to set targets and actively monitor fraudulent traffic. To help the signatories achieve this consistently, the GLF has decided to endorse four KPIs developed by the i3forum for international carriers to take a standardised approach to the measurement of fraud on their networks. Using standardised KPIs will also enable the industry to report collectively the impact their anti-fraud activities have.
PROMOTE COLLABORATION AMONG THE COC SIGNATORIES
The objective of the CoC is to make a significant difference in reducing fraud in the industry, through an expanding number of signatories adopting best practises and collaborating to fight fraud.
To further promote and facilitate this, we are delighted to announce that the GLF the i3forum will be holding the first “CoC Implementation and Oversight” meeting as a specific session of the i3forum Annual Conference at International Telecoms Week (ITW). The meeting is open to all CoC signatories, GLF and i3forum members. We encourage you to send to the meeting your relevant fraud specialists, who are responsible for your fraud prevention activities.
The details of the meeting are:
Date: Wednesday, 26th June 2019
Time: 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Venue: i3forum Annual Conference at ITW at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
