How we’re Driving KYC Guidance to Fight Telecom fraud
In today’s fast-changing telecom environment, regulators worldwide are pressing for stronger Know Your Customer (KYC) mechanisms. Fraud prevention has never been more critical, and the industry must adapt to ensure a safer and more secure communications ecosystem.
To address this challenge, i3Forum, together with Numeracle and the Cloud Communications Alliance (CCA), has developed a comprehensive set of KYC and Know Your Traffic (KYT) controls. These guidelines:
• Apply globally, covering both traditional telecom and cloud communications.
• Standardize fraud prevention approaches across Voice and SMS.
• Provide telecom providers with a clear baseline to meet regulatory demands and strengthen operational efficiency.
By embracing these controls, telecom service providers can not only stay compliant but also enhance efficiency and build a more trustworthy, resilient global ecosystem.
Explore these new guidelines, understand their impact, and learn how they can be implemented across your organization.
