This webinar will provide an overview of the GSMA Foundry’s Open Verifiable Calling (OVC) project, an initiative designed to help restore trust in voice communications by enabling consumers to verify who is calling them.
With fraudulent and unwanted calls continuing to erode confidence in voice services, OVC demonstrates how open, verifiable technologies can:
- Establish strong, trusted caller identity
- Protect information through cryptographic proof
- Enable phones to present verified caller information to consumers
For operators and service providers, OVC supports improved fraud mitigation, promotion of legitimate traffic, and provable—not best-efforts—regulatory compliance.
